Female Athlete | Kathy Rinehart-Hansen

Kathy Rinehart-Hansen

Kathy has been a client for 3 years now, attending class at least 3 times a week.  She always brings enthusiasm to each class, encouraging other members and cheering them on.  As a coach, having Kathy in class is always a bonus because of her motivation of others.  She loves to use her loud voice and have fun.  When asked about HPI, Kathy said “My favorite thing about MU HPI is how every member is treated like an athlete. In RSB we work out with the same principles as everyone in any program. We are challenged to do our best and push ourselves physically and mentally. I continue to improve my balance, strength, and flexibility with a positive mindset. Each week there is a quote to encourage us. The staff and interns are well trained and encourage us to never give up! I look forward to the interaction with my “Parkie” boxers. We are all a part of one BIG family at MU HPI!”

Male Athlete | John Bennett

John Bennett

John has been a consistent client for almost 3 years now and continues to be one of our most competitive athletes.  Whether it be in Rock Steady, Yoga or strength training, John loves to beat any challenge given to him and will work hard to do so.  He is always cheering on teammates to do the same even if it means they are beating him.  That is a wonderful attribute as a coach to see.  When asked about HPI, John said  “I have been enrolled in the RSB class at HPI for almost 3 years. The class has helped me immensely in combating Parkinson’s disease and has given me the opportunity to be part of a community of people who inspire me with their courage and determination to fight back. The class has improved my strength, coordination, balance, and overall well-being. I am grateful that we have this program and HPI and it’s excellent staff.”
