Female Athlete | Vani

Vani KumarVani Kumar has been a client for a little over 5 months. She came to us after watching her big brother Vignesh train with us for awhile. Vani is one of the most polite, sweet young female athletes anyone will meet. She has developed a lot in that year starting as a very shy, timid kid and now she displays high energy every class. We are extremely proud of the progress Vani has shown thus far and are excited to continue to watch her grow and get better each and every day. When asked about her favorite thing about MU HPI, she said, “I enjoy the fun activities, especially Capture the Flag.”

Male Athlete | Jon

Jon Banker

Jon Banker has been a client for a little over 3 months. In that short time Jon has become an HPI favorite. From the coaching staff to all of the clients who come in when he is training, everyone loves Jon. I believe this is for a couple reasons 1) he is very easy to talk to and get along with because of his great personality 2) the type of stuff he is able to accomplish at an older age most people cannot do…people even 20 years younger couldn’t do. Along with that Jon is very dedicated to being the best. He wants to understand the training and how it relates to his sport performance (Pole Vaulting). Then he works very hard in his training and his recovery. Jon stands out among the rest in a lot of areas but this is one area I have always been impressed with is how well he takes care of his body. When asked his favorite thing about MU HPI, he said, “What makes HPI so special is their knowledge and ability to apply it to the capability of each person. I appreciate the coaches’ attention to detail and constant reminders of why the simple things can become the difference where it counts most.”
